1. Make 2 teams
2. Ask the first question about the story. The teacher can use this time to explain what the young people don’t seem to understand.
3. The young person on the team that answers the question correctly, comes to the front and stands behind the line. If the child only gets part of the question right, the rest of the team can help them or the teacher can fill in the rest. Help the child to have success.
4. The young person then tries to throw the ball into the basketball ring. They score points when it goes in.
5. Keep track of the points. The team with the most points wins.
6. Be sure to clap for both sides. No name-calling. Encourage good sportsmanship.
